Your Role as the Security Technician Apprentice:
- Installing, servicing, and maintaining advanced security systems such as access controls, video surveillance, intercoms, and electronic locks.
- Take the lead in contributing to project success by proactively solving problems and demonstrating independence in a supportive environment.
- Absorb valuable insights and techniques from experienced trainers to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Maintain a professional work environment by ensuring cleanliness, organization, and attention to detail.
- Assist in managing inventory by ordering and tracking parts, materials, and service hours to support smooth operations.
Requirements for the Security Technician Apprentice:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in carpentry, electric, HVAC, or military highly preferred.
- Door experience (openers, closers, latches, handles, sound) is a huge plus!
- Ability to read blueprints and understand general construction.
- Computer proficiency and ability to quickly learn software.
- HS Diploma/GED required.
- Comfortable using hand tools and power tools.
- You have excellent communication skills and can work independently or in a team environment.
- Up to date on COVID/flu vaccinations due to local client worksite requirements.
- You're intellectually curious and keen to learn new tech and techniques.
- You're open to working extra hours or weekends when needed.
- You are mechanically inclined, can handle physical work in various settings, and lift over 75 pounds.
- Possess a valid Driver’s License and pass a driving record and background check.
