Responsibilities of our Residential Service Electrician:
- Take charge of overseeing and handling various commercial projects.
- Install, maintain, modify, and repair electrical distribution systems and related equipment (up to 480 volts).
- Ensure strict adherence to the current National Electric Code.
- Wire, inspect, and test electrical system components such as transformers, transfer switches, and switch gears.
- Specialize in office buildouts, remodels, and new wiring projects.
- Effectively use blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer’s installation manuals for project completion.
- Conduct surveys of electrical systems, circuits, and plans.
- Maintain accurate digital records and pictures documenting work performed and materials used.
- Strictly adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
- Supervise apprentices, sharing your expertise and knowledge for their development.
Requirements for our Residential Service Electrician:
- High school diploma/GED is required.
- Need at least 4 years of experience in the commercial electrical trade.
- Demonstrate knowledge and skills in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair of systems and equipment.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Ability to run conduit.
- Low voltage wiring experience is preferred but not required.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain professional, positive relationships with customers and coworkers.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and live in the Greater St. Louis area.
