Qualifications for the Commercial HVAC Service Technician:
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in servicing and maintaining Commercial systems.
  • Strong knowledge of split systems, commercial equipment, and controls.
  • Proficiency in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
  • EPA/NATE/OSHA certification is a plus, but not required.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities for the Commercial HVAC Service Technician:
  • Service, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC systems (split, rooftop, packaged units)
  • Demonstrate expertise with Boilers, Cooling Towers, VFDs, and Water Source Heat Pumps
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical and mechanical issues
  • Install and replace HVAC equipment and components
  • Perform preventive maintenance to optimize system performance and longevity
  • Respond promptly and efficiently to service calls
  • Collaborate effectively with team members
  • Maintain accurate service and repair records
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies
  • Handle refrigerants safely and in compliance with environmental guidelines
