Key Responsibilities:
- Build a Winning Team: Lead and mentor local Commercial HVAC Sales Managers and team members, identifying key customers and developing strategic action plans to drive growth.
- Maximize Market Potential: Leverage your HVAC market expertise to maximize sales and profitability, presenting a compelling competitive advantage.
- Drive Strategic Growth: Develop and execute short- and long-term strategic plans to achieve ambitious growth targets aligning with the commercial HVAC industry.
- Empower Sales Excellence: Direct the activities of regional sales professionals, providing training, coaching, and field support to drive sales success.
- Ensure Optimal Staffing: Maintain optimal sales staffing levels and actively participate in recruiting efforts.
- Drive Performance & Accountability: Develop and implement performance standards, KPIs, and corrective measures to achieve sales goals within the commercial HVAC sector.
- Lead with Accountability: Conduct regular accountability calls, focusing on KPI performance, pricing discipline, and timely lead follow-up.
- Collaborate for Success: Work closely with the marketing team to create and implement impactful campaigns.
- Monitor & Achieve Growth: Monitor sales growth against budget expectations, ensuring revenue growth and increased market share.
- Champion Customer Satisfaction: Maintain exceptional customer satisfaction through proactive communication and issue resolution.
- Ensure Contractual Excellence: Ensure all contractual obligations are met and resolve customer complaints efficiently.
- Drive Lead Conversion: Reinforce timely follow-up on customer leads from all sources.
- Provide Expert Solutions: Understand customer HVAC needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Perform Additional Duties: Take on other duties as assigned to support team and company success.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's Degree: (Preferred)
- Extensive Commercial Trades Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in Commercial Trades or equivalent in the HVAC industry.
- Proven Management Experience: 3-5 years of experience leading an HVAC sales team.
- Valid Driver's License: And a clear driving record.
- Exceptional Communication Skills: Ability to effectively interact with business leaders and customers.
- Strong Sales Leadership Skills: Functional and technical skills in leading a sales organization.
- Financial Acumen: Excellent leadership skills in financial management.
- Strong Work Ethic: Ability to effectively manage and motivate others.
- Product Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of approved commercial HVAC products and services.
- Sales Forecasting Skills: Knowledge of direct sales forecasting related to HVAC sales and performance goal setting.
