Key Responsibilities:

• Expert Troubleshooting & Repair: Efficiently and professionally diagnose and resolve a wide spectrum of residential electrical system issues.
• Precision Installation & Service: Expertly install, service, and repair lighting fixtures, electrical panels, outlets, and wiring to meet and exceed customer expectations.
• Accurate Diagnostics & Solutions: Thoroughly diagnose the root cause of electrical system problems and failures to accurately determine necessary repairs or replacements.
• Proficient Equipment Operation: Skillfully operate a variety of power hand tools and specialized electrical equipment in residential settings.
• Specialized System Expertise: Install, repair, and service specialized residential electrical equipment and machinery.
• Service Infrastructure Management: Construct and maintain essential service equipment to ensure operational readiness.
• Technical Interpretation: Accurately interpret and work from electrical circuit diagrams.
• Efficient Resource Management: Requisition necessary materials and supplies from the stockroom, effectively communicate with vendors regarding parts and supplies, and provide informed recommendations for purchases and suppliers.
• Cross-Trade Collaboration: May perform other trade work incidental to electrical tasks, ensuring comprehensive service delivery.
• Mentorship & Development: Supervise and guide apprentice Electricians during their critical training period, fostering the next generation of skilled professionals.
• Vehicle & Equipment Stewardship: Diligently maintain your assigned vehicle, tools, and equipment to ensure their availability and safe operating condition.
• Continuous Learning & Improvement: Actively participate in meetings, workshops, training sessions, and seminars as required to stay informed and enhance your job performance.
• Clear Communication & Documentation: Prepare accurate written materials, including repair status updates, activity logs, and work orders, for both customers and supervisors, providing clear documentation and estimates.
• Effective Coordination: Collaborate seamlessly with other trades to ensure the efficient completion of projects and work orders.
• Emergency Response: Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations during or after hours to resolve immediate safety concerns for our customers.

What We Need From You:

• Proven experience as a Residential Electrician with a minimum of 3 years in the field.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Graduation from an accredited Electrician training program is essential.
• Current and valid Electrician license in the state of Virginia is required.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety protocols in the operation of all hand and power tools.
• Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills with a focus on building positive relationships.
• A strong orientation towards both safety and exceeding customer expectations.
• Fluent English-speaking and writing skills to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers.
